2021 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show – Signage

In 2021 the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show moved outdoors for the first time in its nearly 200-year history due to the pandemic. This required developing an entirely new place ID, way-finding, and exhibit signage system suitable for a fifteen-acre space in FDR Park – and only a few months to do it. Signage included custom-illustrated “Habitat” theme art elements and was color-coded by assigned districts. Sign types ranged from large format banners and sintra signs to smaller sandwich board and tabletop signs. I designed many signs myself and also created “Brand Visual Guidelines” and templates for each type of sign for my in-house team and freelancers to use. Featured below are some examples of what added up to over 2,000 signs.
